2 Marketing Tips For Getting Publicity For Your Business

Daniel Kanuck

Are you to the point where you’re looking to say “bye-bye” to your business? Well before you give up, I think there are some things that you will want to try in order to make your business flourishing again. If your marketing campaign isn’t bringing you the results that you’d hope for, then I think that you should revamp your strategy – but just don’t give up.

It’s my intent on showing you how to get more new prospects and customers into your place of business. Even if you’ve attempted to use every trick in the book, I’m confident that the strategies that I have here today will allow you to take your business to the top. Let’s take a look at marketing strategy number 1.

1) Do something newsworthy

Let me tell you a quick story: I saw this movie once where this guy was a car dealership owner and his daughter was a cheerleader. Well long story short, his daughter got kidnapped, and the car dealership owner was looking for anyway to bring his daughter back. So this guy ran an unbelievable sale, in return for leads on where his daughter is. In the movie the guy made national and local news, and everyone was telling him how much of a jerk he is.

This example showed me that when you do something outrageous, you tend to attract alot of attention to yourself. Now while the car dealership owner may have been out of line for having a major sale in return for his daughter, this proves an important marketing lesson: Do something newsworthy, and expect to get more free publicity for yourself.

Now while I don’t suggest going as far as this guy went, you will want to do something to attract attention to your business. Is there anything that you can do to become newsworthy? Are there any products or services that you have that can be tied in with a particular month or holiday? These are important questions, because if you can come up with something newsworthy, you’ll find yourself inundated with a flood of new prospects and customers. Here’s another strategy that you can implement:

2) Give away free audio CD’s

These CD’s should contain yourself speaking on a particular issue in your niche. Your CD should be highly-informative, and at the end of the CD, lead your prospects to your main sales letter where they will either make the decision to buy or to pass. But even if they do pass right now, follow up on them so that you’ll stay first in their mind when they’re ready to make a purchasing decision.

There are a few ways that you can promote your audio CD. One option is to offer it in an ad in the newspaper. Make a headline that says something like, “Free Audio CD Reveals…” This is sure to get prospects attention. After they respond to your ad, mail them your sales letter with the audio CD inside.

These 2 tips are some things that you can do to get the word out about your business. And best of all, they work immediately for you – so there’s no waiting involved. Simply use these tips, and just sit back and watch as your business takes off.

Good luck with marketing your products and services.
